Paimio refinement plant for end-of-life textiles to start up in early fall

Installation work at Rester Oy’s and Lounais-Suomen Jätehuolto Oy’s refinement plant for end-of-life textiles is nearing completion. The next step is test driving the processes with end-of-life textiles that have already been collected. The journey so far has been great and enlightening, and we are looking forward to entering to the next phase.

There’s a plethora of things to consider when starting up a brand new industry. We aim to be as thorough as possible, in order to achieve an end result of the highest quality. Lessons learned have been a valuable part of this development work. Our collective journey towards starting up a circular economy for end-of-life textiles in Finland continues.

We can`t wait to get our facility and therefor end-of-life textiles circularity started in early fall!
